ABOUT ME

I’m a screen composer and music producer working out of Church St Studios, Sydney.

I have arranged strings for releases by The Kid LAROI (F*ck Love) and Cap Carter. As a screen composer, I have credits on Stella and Ruth (short film) and TV shows The Summit, Blow Up and We Interrupt This Broadcast. Recently, I scored an arrangement of Take on Me for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Channel 7.
I hold a composition honours degree (first class, 2021) from the Sydney Conservatorium, where I studied with one of Australia’s most prominent composers, Carl Vine. My contemporary classical portfolio includes works for piano, strings and big band.
In 2022 I wrote music for video games at the APRA High Score Songhubs program and started working for composition studio Uncanny Valley. 2023 saw the launch of my single First Rites.

A unique musical blend

I have a background in double bass (LMusA Distinction) and jazz piano. My ensemble experience ranges from big bands to folk rock outfits, salsa bands and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
This has created a style which fuses elements from experience with classical, jazz and folk ensembles, fused with electronic and produced components.
I have written a thesis on artificially intelligent composition systems under the supervision of composer and technologist Ben Carey. I am fascinated with the direction of this space and the increasingly powerful role that AI tools can have in creating unique musical experiences, as well as the impact this technology is already having on what it means to be a media composer.
